Julia Cordon will give an illustrated talk entitled ” Easy Alpines to Grow in Scotland”. Julia recently took over the position of President of the Scottish Rock Garden Club but many of us will know her as manager of the Explorers Garden in Pitlochry where she heads up a team of 42 volunteers.
Saturday 23rd March Spring Flower Show to be held from 12 noon – 4.30pm at Burnside Halls, Scone.

Perth Fuchsia Club hosts a talk for all RHS of Perthshire members at the North Church Hall, Perth starting at 7pm. Tom Sneddon from Polmont’s chosen topics are Fuchsias and Streptocarpus.

Chairman of Beautiful Perth, John Summers OBE will give an incite into his role in enabling Perth to lift the Large Town Trophy in the Britain in Bloom Awards yet again in 2018.

Tonight’s talk is from an experienced show exhibitor Alistair Barnard who will enlighten both Perth Fuchsia Club members and members from RHS of Perthshire about Begonias and Sweet Peas.

This garden visit to the Secret Garden at Perth Railway Station where Tracey Hutton will guide us through one of Perth’s hidden gems.

This garden visit is to Parkhead, Burghmuir Road, Perth the home of Madeline Tinson who holds the National Collection of Mylnefield Lillies and takes place from 2.30pm. Entry is £5 per person.

Brian Farey is an accomplished photographer and will give hints and tips on photographing close up subjects like flowers for the last of the joint meetings this year.
