The sun shone on our group visit to see the National Collection of Mylnefield lilies garden at Madeline Tinson’s town house. All enjoyed the carefully tended borders set out to offer ever changing vistas, the selections of garden sculptures emerging from the foliage and the varied choices of plant textures which were so pleasing on the eye. It my have been past the season to appreciate the Mylnefield lilies but there was plenty to admire in late summer blooms and early autumn colour.
With smiles on our faces we came away fascinated by this hidden corner of a city we thought we knew so well.
Thank you Madeline for allowing our members to share the efforts of all your hard work.
