Two of our own members , Frank Sloan & Janet Wetherell , gave a very enlightening illustrated talk on how to make the most of a camera to photograph flowers and other close up items. Frank showed us the benefits of different types of filters, tripods, reflectors etc to enhance blooms then backed up his theory with some excellent garden visit photographs from local gardens. Janet’s display of photographs was something to aspire to.
Thank you Frank and Janet for picking up the challenge when our original speaker was unable to attend. We all learned something and enjoyed the usual informal time for questions, chat and socializing over light refreshments.
