On Saturday 2nd July a small group of members visited Croftcat Lodge highland garden just west of Grandtully. The one acre site perched on the side of the Tay valley holds three ponds, both formal and informal, a gravel bed, mixed borders and woodland areas and is designed to be a tranquil haven for all seasons. The owners, Margaret and Iain Gimblett must have tremendous energy to have developed the grounds over just eight years. To round off the afternoon we were treated to teas and scrumptious cakes which were enjoyed tremendously.
