We were so lucky on Wednesday evening to escape the torrential rain in Perthshire and visit dry Fife for a visit to show winner Keith Brand’s flower cutting’s garden. On about a quarter of an acre hundreds of dahlia and gladioli were planted out together with a wide range of herbaceous perennials. We tapped him for tips and techniques as well as marvelled at the difficulties of gardening in that location. Thanks Keith for spending time with our group when you needed to cut flowers for the weekend’s show in Ayr.
