It is under five weeks to the show and time to keep a close eye on potted bulbs progress. Below are a few tips to help them reach show day at their best.
1- Keep the pots well watered- moist not sitting in water
2- Ensure steady sturdy green foliage growth by moving pots to warmer or cooler locations as needed. Foliage will be yellowish if it is being forced to grow very quickly and likely to be weak and short of flower buds appearing.
3- Support foliage if it starts to flop- this usually means you are trying to force the growth too quickly.
4- Keep turning pots to ensure even growth all round.
