Sunny weather brought out eleven members to plant up their own container under the expert guidance of Ann Taylor. With a wide range of annual bedding to choose from Ann talked us through her selection of container, compost and plant combinations which have brought her so much success at local shows. Hints and tips were shared inspiring us to aim for the same success at filling our gardens with island splashes of colour. Then it was our turn to put theory into practice.
All headed home with a pot or hanging basket bulging with promise of summer colour – if we keep it away from late spring frosts!
We look forward to seeing the containers at the summer show in classes 46 or 47.
