The society has been in talks with Perth Fuchsia Group to create a conjoined programme of talks throughout 2019. They would take place monthly hosted by one or other of the societies. There would be benefits for both groups. Out would be any repetition of organising events of a similar nature but it also would  make sound economic sense. Socially like minded horticulturalists could meet up with others who share similar interests and experiences.

Although the programme has yet to be finalised the first of these meetings will host4ed by the RHS of Perthshire and  be held in the Railway Staff Club on Thursday 14th March 7.30pm. Julia Corden will speak on “Easy Alpines to Grow in Scotland” followed by light refreshments and time to get to know the Members of the other society.
