The next joint meeting with the Perth and District Fuchsia Group will be held in the North Church Tryst, Perth on Wednesday 12th June at 7pm when Alistair Barnard will be giving a talk on Begonias and Sweet Peas.
Alistair’s life is rooted in horticulture. He is a former Parks and Development Officer with Fife Council who has excelled at the show bench across a wide range of plants including dahlias, chrysanthemums, begonias and sweet peas. Currently Alistair is Show Manager of Fife Flower Show and treasurer of the National Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society. With such credentials his talk will be a source of pleasure for all level of growers.
